We understand that children can be smaller or bigger than the typical size for their age, so we don’t encourage parents to shop based solely on age.
Instead, we recommend choosing clothing according to your child’s current clothing size. For example, a 6-year-old might actually fit better in a size meant for a 5-year-old. To avoid sizing issues, please check the size label on one of your child’s existing outfits at home and shop according to that size.
You can find the label inside any of your child’s clothing—usually at the collar or along the side seam. The size may be written in different formats, such as:
- Letters: 2T, 5T
- Centimeters (CM)
- Age labels
Shopping based on the label you already use ensures the best fit for your child.
